Finding the Best College Fit for Your Child
A great option for parent groups, this presentation helps walk parents through their role in the process. Whether you are the parent of an eighth grader just beginning to think about college, or a senior parent who is deep into the nitty-gritty of the process, this presentation can help answer questions and ease stress for the whole family!
Duration: One hour
Intended Audience: Grade 7-12 parents
Academic planning for middle school students
While we don’t recommend that your twelve-year-old put together a college list just yet, there’s a LOT that middle school students should be thinking about as they begin to chart their path through high school.
One of our most popular presentations, this is a great way to make sure that you allocate your resources and time where they count instead of forcing your child to pursue activities “for college” that won’t matter anyway - or that you encourage the middle school math and foreign language choices that will open doors later (hint: they may not be the choices you expect!).
Duration: One hour
Intended Audience: Grade 7-12 parents and students
